1.1.4.8.1.1. Assign new role to multiple users

In order to assign a new role (or different) proceed as follows:

  1. Optionally you can filter before.

    Detailed information on this is found under Section 1.1.3, “Find users”.

  2. In the table, activate one or several users.

  3. Click on the Create user roles button.

    -> The Create user role dialog is opened. (The table is still empty.)

  4. Click on Show all in order to display all available roles or use filters.

    Following filters can be used:

    • Portal:

    • Type:

      • admin: Portal administration

      • external: Portal operator

      • internal: CADENAS personnel

      • user: Portal user

    • Facet:

      • Advertising

      • Billing

      • Catalogs

      • Configuration

      • Customisation

      • Custom Login

      • Embedded

      • File Service

      • Management

      • Master

      • Misc

      • OnlineShop

      • PartGenerationService

      • PARTsolutions

      • Procurement

      • Scheduling Service

      • SmartSales

      • Statistic

      • Translation

      • Users

  5. For desired roles, activate the checkbox and finally confirm with Add.

  6. If the action was successful, then a respective message appears.
