In order to check, whether a certain email address is allowed to download do the following:

Make sure that you are in the dialog area Generation Exclusions/Inclusions.
In the input field, enter your (or desired) catalog name and confirm by clicking the Return key.
-> Your catalog is displayed in the table.
In the Actions table column, click on the command Generation Exclusion/Inclusion.
-> In the dialog Manage generation exclusion/inclusion, the table with all entries is displayed.
In the input field, enter the email address to be checked and confirm by clicking the Return key.
-> The respective result lines are displayed.
In this exemplary figure a search for "wiseguy@hotmail.com" is performed.

Note

You can not only query complete email addresses, but also domain names and any substrings of the address.

For a substring search do not enter the wildcard '*'.

Examples:

@company.com

@company

In the following the various result variants are described:

No result lines
Meaning: The queried email address is neither part of an exclusions list nor part of an inclusions list. Meaning with this email address download is possible.

Some result lines, possibly with conflicting statements

Note

The uppermost result line is authoritative. The list priorities as explained under Section 1.2.2, “Basics regarding functionality”, are already considered!

If you only want to know, "Is this email address allowed to download or not?", then you don't have to consider the other lines.

Meaning: The queried email address is contained both in the catalog exclusions list and in the master inclusions list. Since the catalog exclusions list has priority over the master inclusions list, with this email address cannot be downloaded any parts.
