In order to set an email address on the catalog exclusions list do the following:^[2]

Make sure that you are in the dialog Generation Exclusions/Inclusions.
In the input field, enter your (or desired) catalog name and confirm by clicking the Return key.
-> Your catalog is displayed in the table.
In the table column Actions, click on the command Generation Exclusion/Inclusion.
-> In the dialog Manage generation exclusion/inclusion, the table is displayed with all entries.
Above the table, click on the command Create exclusion.
-> The dialog New exclusion is opened.
In the Catalog state list field, select the desired option:
- LIVE
- QA
In the input field under Email, make the desired entry:
Therefor you have the following options:
- Complete email address
  Example:
```
wiseguy@hotmail.com
```
- Only domain name
  Example for the exclusions list:
```
*@company.de
```
  Example for the inclusions list:
```
*@company.com
```
- Parts of the domain name
  Example:
```
*@hotmail.*
```
- Via exclusion list, all email addresses can be excluded.
```
*@*
```
  This variant makes sense, if you include the especially desired email addresses via inclusions list in reverse. Ideally insert the domain name instead of single complete email addresses.
```
*@company.com
```
Finally click on Save.
